We were just updated by the nurse practitioner. Apparently they have finished up. They are taking her off of the bypass machine and "warming her up". (Cooling the heart reduces it's need for oxygen and allows the surgeons to work on the heart for a few hours without damaging tissue.)
The NP said she did great! It will probably a few more hours before we can see her.
