Wow. These days seem so long. It feels like we have been here forever already. Gracelyn is in the CICU and is doing great! We just had a shift change and ended up with one of our favorite nurses. I decided to post a picture from far away. You can see all of the lines she is hooked up to. She has ten different lines and a couple other machines.
Mr. C, grandpa and grandma ate dinner with us and went home. Mr. C was great. They sat with us through most of the surgery. Gracelyn's great great aunt Linda came down to support us and sat with us through most of our waiting as well. It was nice to have them all here. Over she was in surgery for about 6 hours. 
Mr. C, grandpa and dad got a couple nice naps in. 
It is so nice to have her out of surgery and on her way to recovering. She is doing well and I think come morning we will start seeing lines being taken out.
